Definition
A Key Performance Indicator is a quantifiable metric used to track whether a service is meeting its targets. In commercial cleaning, common KPIs include attendance rate, QA audit score, complaint volume, response-to-resolution time, and consumables on-hand percentage.
Why it matters for procurement
KPIs translate a subjective service ('the office looks clean') into objective evidence. They also make underperformance visible early — before it becomes a tenant complaint or a lost contract renewal.
How White Gold Collective applies it
We report five KPIs monthly per site: attendance %, QA score (out of 100), complaint count, average response time, consumables stockout incidents. Anything below threshold triggers an automatic root-cause review.
